The International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting (ISFFA), in partnership with the Philippine Consulate General of Chicago, will bring us a celebration of Filipino cuisine from October 6 to 21, 2019.

Our first ever event features special prix fixe menus (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). Chicago Restaurant Week during Spring time has always been a successful celebration of Chicago food diversity and this has inspired us to highlight our very own Filipino cuisine in celebration of the Filipino-American History Month of October. We believe that Filipino Restaurant Week (FRW) will give an opportunity to all Chicagoans (for both Filipino or non-Filipinos alike) to enjoy our world-class food.

More than ten(10) restaurants are participating, located in the City of Chicago and neighboring suburbs – all featuring Filipino food staples, both classic and modern-twist! Stay tuned for a complete list of restaurants that you can visit!

What is Filipino Restaurant Week (FRW)?

Chicago residents and food enthusiasts (really anyone!) will have the opportunity to enjoy Filipino-themed prix fixe menus from more than 10 participating Filipino restaurants in the Chicagoland area. This is the first ever in the Midwest. ISFFA is heading this event, in partnership with the Chicago PCG. Pricing varies per restaurant but it will be in the $15-$25 average (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity).

What are the dates to remember?

October 6, 2019 (Sunday, 1 – 4 pm) – Chicago FRW Launch Party at SX Sky Bar, 808 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60605.

October 6 – 21, 2019 (runs for two (2) weeks) – Chicago FRW period. Visit the participating restaurants and try their special menu exclusively offered during this period. Chicago FRW Passports for the raffle will only be available for diners during this period as well.

October 27, 2019 (Sunday, 1 – 4 pm) – Chicago FRW Block Party and Raffle Drawing at MORA Asian Kitchen, 627 E. Boughton Rd., Bolingbrook, IL 60440. GMA Pinoy TV is our media partner. Watch out for more surprises!

How do I participate?

Just show up in your restaurant of choice! (see which restaurants are participating below).

You might have to check and try to make reservations if possible. All participating restaurants should provide you with their special Restaurant Week Menu.

What can I get by dining in the participating restaurants?

Diners will get a chance to participate in our raffle. Prizes will be coming from our sponsors, and we will also have gift certificates from select, participating restaurants.

How does the raffle work?

Each diner who wish to join the raffle will be given FRW Pasaporte (passport) sheet. Use the passport sheet to collect stamps from eligible restaurants. Each stamp will allow you to claim corresponding raffle ticket(s) at the culminating event on Oct. 27, 2019.  The more restaurants you visit, the more stamps you would get, and the more chances of winning!

Download passport sheet for complete and detailed raffle mechanic, or ask for one from your first visit to any restaurant.

It is important that you do not lose the passport sheet as you will have to present the original one on Oct. 27th at our culminating event.

When will the winners be announced?

On October 27, 2019 (Sunday) at MORA Asian Kitchen at 627 E Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
